WEEK 5

For this week Samuel went to meet his Korean mentees for the first time and they decided to eat at a nearby 식당 called 등촌샤브칼국수.
and here is a picture of the 칼국수 with 소고기샤브. The beef was so delicious paired up with noodles and a spicy broth that gives the dish a little kick! Surprisingly, the name of the restaurant that we ate at had the 등촌 in it, and one of Samuel's mentee was from that neighborhood!

Samuel wanted to take some of the Malaysians out for lunch to eat at a 찜닭 place called 내가찜한닭! Essentially, 찜닭 is made up of braised steamed chicken, marinated in Korean soy sauce, along with rice cakes, dumplings, glass noodles, potatoes and not to mention the melted and "instagrammable" cheese above the dish
And in the evening we went to a dog cafe at 홍대 to play with the Samoyed dogs who were so fluffy and cute!

We had our dinner at BHC Chicken. First time eating the BHC chicken and it's delicious.
